Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Preeti 2 Unicode. By opening the site or using the converter, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About the service
Preeti 2 Unicode is a free, browser-based tool that converts Preeti-encoded Nepali text into standard Unicode. All processing happens locally in your browser. The service is provided as-is, without registration, payment, or a service-level guarantee.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Because the tool runs entirely on your device, an available copy of a loaded page may continue to work offline.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the converter for personal, educational, professional, and commercial purposes free of charge. You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful activity or to infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting infrastructure.
- Misrepresent converted output as an official or certified translation.
- Remove or alter notices that identify the source of the tool.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the text and files you convert. We do not receive, store, or claim any license to your documents because the conversion happens in your browser. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to process the content you use.
4. Accuracy and no warranty
The conversion engine follows a standard Preeti-to-Unicode mapping, but automated conversion can produce errors, especially with custom glyphs, damaged files, mixed fonts, or unusual formatting. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Always review important output, such as legal, medical, financial, or official documents, before relying on it. For details about supported formats and known limitations, see the documentation.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Preeti 2 Unicode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes errors in converted text and any decisions made based on that output.
6. Intellectual property
The site design, text, branding, and conversion implementation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the site or permission to redistribute it as your own product. The Preeti name and any third-party trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners.
7. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how the site handles local storage, fonts, and server logs. In short: your document text is never sent to us.
8. Third-party links and resources
The site may link to third-party websites or load third-party resources such as web fonts. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Visiting a third-party link is at your own discretion.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the service or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
